Many Immanuel members recently provided dozens of suits, suit coats, slacks, dress shirts, polo shirts, belts, ties, dress socks, and dress shoes for the clothing ministry at the Shelby County Corrections Center in Memphis.  A Tennessee Department of Corrections counselor in Memphis (with whom Immanuel partners) works in prison ministry in conjunction with the Shelby County Corrections Center to reconnect people into the community workforce so they can become productive citizens.  Clothing is provided to rehabilitated inmates who have job interviews.  Many of those previously incarcerated are able to obtain jobs and work productively in the community.  The clothing provided through Immanuel was well received by the prison ministry staff and your help in providing these items is greatly appreciated!
