Egg Hunt Held on Easter Sunday

As part of Immanuel’s Easter Sunday celebration on April 4th, 25 children ages 3 through the fifth grade participated in an egg hunt on our campus. We were blessed with awesome weather. There were two locations for hunting eggs in age-appropriate groups. After finishing, the children exchanged their baskets of eggs for colorful bags of goodies, which included an Easter message and two wooden crosses. The children were encouraged to give one of the crosses to a neighbor or classmate, as one way to share the love of Jesus in celebrating Easter. Special thanks to our Immanuel youth who helped pack and distribute goody bags and hide and exchange eggs for the event.
