A number of former ILS graduates were recently recognized for various achievements and awards during the St. Benedict at Auburndale High School Senior Awards ceremony. In the words of an SBA representative, “These awards acknowledge Immanuel Lutheran School’s involvement in the development of these students, not just in academics, but in their spirituality, artistic talents, and overall character.” The following students were recognized: Adam Brigance – Benedictine Cross Award (seniors who perform more than 25 hours of service to the community), Sandy Riggs Award (college scholarship awarded to PLUS student recognized for commitment to their SBA education); Nick Gohil – Student Government Association Representative; Morgen Malinoski – Excellence in Visual Arts (student with highest average in the class), 30+ Award (students who earn score of 30 or above on ACT); Adelina Wood – Most Likely to be Remembered (selected by her class as female in this category).
