Giving Hope to the Homeless

Thanks very much to the 27 volunteers who helped provide for the physical and spiritual needs of those being ministered to at the Memphis Union Mission on February 8th.  Immanuel purchased food and our volunteers prepared and served lunch to about 150 people who were homeless, hungry, and hurting.  Prior to serving lunch, Immanuel led the chapel service with Pastor Greg sharing the message.  The worship songs were led by our Praise Team.  The help everyone provided at the Mission is very much appreciated.  The Memphis Union Mission preaches and promotes the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  The Mission ministers to the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of men, women, and families who are homeless, addicted, and in crisis.  Pastor Randy shared with Immanuel volunteers how God is blessing the current building program that will expand the Mission’s footprint for ministry in the Memphis area.
