Thanks to everyone from Immanuel for your donated items to help give hope to the homeless at the Memphis Union Mission.  61 large cans of vegetables and 36 belts, along with some hygiene items, were collected.  An Immanuel member also provided 150 McDonald’s gift cards that will be used by Mission staff as a “thank you” to those non-paid staff who work at the Mission.  Thanks also to everyone from Immanuel who helped prepare sack lunches at Immanuel for 175 homeless men being ministered to by the Memphis Union Mission on February 12th.  Immanuel led the chapel service at the Mission that morning with the message that Jesus is the Light of the World, based on John 1:1-17.  We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Mission as they continue serve people in need in the greater Memphis community.
