Children participating in Children’s Church at Immanuel completed a service project on May 21st to help children in need who attend Porter-Leath Preschool that will provide them with healthy snacks for the summer.  Our children beautifully decorated 56 boxes and packed them with a variety of healthy snacks provided by the congregation, which included Juicy Juice Apple Juice, Goldfish cheddar crackers, Motts Apple Applesauce, Honey Teddy Grahams, Mini Nilla Wafers, and Barnums Animal Crackers.  The boxes were delivered to Porter-Leath Preschool.  We were blessed with such abundance that extra snacks were provided to the Dorothy Day House, which helps homeless families find stable housing and secure employment.  Special thanks to Holly Mayer and our Children’s Church volunteers, as well as the congregation and children who participated for making this possible!
