On December 15th, a group of Immanuel ladies transformed the Send Relief Ministry Center at the Dwelling Place in Raleigh into a beautifully decorated venue where RestoreCorps held its annual Christmas dinner for 18 survivors and their children. The survivors and their children enjoyed a catered dinner and were given large bags of Christmas gifts. This is an especially meaningful time of year for this group to gather together as family, celebrate the birth of Jesus, and give thanks for the peace, joy, and hope that He has brought into their restored lives. RestoreCorps is a non-profit organization that exists to eradicate human trafficking by utilizing a three-pronged approach that empowers survivors, equips communities, and seeks justice through systemic change.
