Immanuel Provides Christmas Gifts for Survivor Families at RestoreCorps

Women of the Word (WOW) volunteers purchased and wrapped a variety of Christmas gifts for survivor families they adopted at RestoreCorps during this Christmas season. The gifts were delivered to RestoreCorps’ office in early December and then distributed to the families by RestoreCorps staff. Although COVID-19 guidelines prohibited serving a Christmas dinner at a gathering for human trafficking survivors and RestoreCorps staff as done in recent years by Immanuel, WOW volunteers were still able to help make Christmas a special time for families through RestoreCorps by providing gifts. RestoreCorps is an interdenominational, Gospel-centered organization that exists to eradicate human trafficking by empowering survivors, equipping communities, and seeking justice through systemic change. Working alongside RestoreCorps, one of Immanuel’s partners in ministry, we strive to glorify God by serving the Memphis community on behalf of the exploited.
