Immanuel is sending a disaster recovery team to assist in the flooding recovery efforts in Baton Rouge.  The team will leave around noon on Thursday, November 3 and return the evening of Sunday, November 6.  The primary focus will be gutting houses, debris removal, and possibly some re-build work.  We will work in partnership with Trinity Lutheran Church in Baton Rouge, LCMS Southern District Disaster Response, and Lutheran Church Charities.  The flooding in Louisiana has impacted 100,000 homes and is the biggest U.S. disaster since Hurricane Sandy.  If you can serve as part of this team, please contact Ed Mell at emell72@bellsouth.net or 849-2751 for more details as soon as possible.
