On October 5th which was World Teachers’ Day this year, residents from the Quail Ridge Alzheimer’s Special Care Center in Bartlett came to visit and honor our teachers at Immanuel Lutheran School in a touching display of service and gratitude. In addition to meeting and spending time with our teachers, they brought a variety of school supplies that will be used in our classrooms. Residents of Quail Ridge represent a cross-section of our community, including those who have worked as doctors, lawyers, engineers, teachers, and in other vocations. The Program Director who came spoke about the tremendous value that education brings to the lives of so many people, which was why they chose to express their appreciation for our teachers.
