What a wonderful time Trunk or Treat was at Immanuel’s campus on Saturday, October 28!  It was indeed a blessing to see well over 600 people from our community attend this year’s Trunk or Treat – where children and their families could visit the 18 theme trunks for candy, games, and activities, experience balloon creations, chunk pumpkins, and enjoy delicious gourmet popcorn balls and homemade cupcakes being sold.  The Shelby County Sherriff’s Department and Memphis Police Department had vehicles on display and officers also distributed candy.  It was great to see everyone making new friends and having so much fun on a beautiful, cool fall afternoon in a safe, family-friendly environment!  This event was a practical way for our Immanuel family to share God’s love with one another as well as with families in our community.  Special thanks to everyone who provided a trunk and donated candy, the balloon guy, the cupcake ladies, Tom Cassidy for sausage and cheese samples, Signs First in Bartlett for the event banner, those who helped with planning, and all of our awesome volunteers whose work make this event possible.
