What a wonderful time Trunk or Treat was at Immanuel on October 29! In addition to inviting our church and school family, our focus this year was to make this more of a community event. We had about 500 people attend where children and their families could visit the 22 theme trunks (including a trailer and RV) for candy, participate in a variety of games and activities, experience balloon creations, eat kettle corn, chunk pumpkins, and pick up some swag at the ILS Spirit Shop. It was great to see everyone having so much fun on a beautiful afternoon in a safe, family-friendly environment! Special thanks to everyone who provided a trunk and donated candy, the balloon guy and kettle corn folks, Signs First in Bartlett for the banner, Stacy Gaylord for staffing the ILS Spirit Shop, and those who helped with planning, set-up, and take-down for the event.
